Traveling frequently, whether for work or pleasure , is certainly very exciting, but there are various costs involved. One of these is accommodation.
Booking.com is undoubtedly one of the most popular accommodation booking portals around the world. We've answered the most common questions and curiosities about Booking.com and its online booking system.
How do you book on booking?
Booking on the world's most popular online booking site is incredibly simple. First, we recommend creating an account, not so much for searching for hotels (because you can actually do that as a guest), but rather for the actual booking.
To sign up for Booking , go to the home page and click Register in the top right. You'll be asked to enter an email address and password. If you'd like to speed up this process, you can request access using a social media account or an existing Gmail address.
We're almost there. The platform will now ask you some questions to help understand your traveler profile and recommend the most suitable accommodations . You can choose to answer or skip the questions. Enter your first name, last name, and mobile number, and you're done: your Booking account is now ready to use.
Please note: creating an account is not required to book on Booking.com, however, it makes managing your reservations much easier.
How to search for a hotel on Booking.com?
If you're on Booking.com , you're probably looking for the best hotel for your needs. We recommend starting with the search form at the top. Enter your destination, arrival and departure dates, number of people, and rooms. Booking.com will show you the best results. But if you're looking for something specific, we recommend using one of Booking.com's most powerful features: filters.
Using filters, you can exclude a whole series of items, getting as close as possible to your needs.
Example: Want to stay in Rome but don't want to spend too much? Then click "Filter" in the left column to choose how much you're willing to spend. Easy, right?
How to get a Booking discount code?
Booking.com frequently releases discount codes and coupons to apply when booking. We've collected them all on this page, updated daily.
How to pay less on Booking?
On Booking.com, knowing how to use filters is very important. Not only does it help you quickly choose the option that best suits your needs, but it also helps you save money . Open the map and carefully examine the places you're interested in. You might find they're well-connected, so you can book a hotel that's slightly further away but still well-connected, saving you a lot of money.
Booking.com doesn't just offer hotels, but also other, sometimes more affordable options. For example , apartments can cost up to 50% less. This option can also be found within the filters.
Booking.com has its own program called Genius , which lets you receive discounts and bonuses every time you book. How do you become a Genius user? Simply travel, and Booking.com will credit you with points every time you book.
